November 18, 2004 - BURRELL EXPANDS IN THE UNITED STATES AND CLOSES CANADIAN OPERATION.

It was announced today that Burrell Generators, Inc., a Canadian partnership between Robert Burrell and William F. White International, is discontinuing operations. According to Burrell, "the economic conditions that brought us here in the first place no longer exist. The Canadian dollar is at a 12 year high and continues to get stronger. This combined with a very soft North American Motion Picture equipment market were more than the company could overcome."

In a related move it was also announced that Burrell Enterprises, Inc. would be taken private with Robert Burrell acquiring all outstanding stock. Burrell Enterprises, Inc. is a Texas corporation that manufactures and sells LitePOWER Movie Quiet generators and accessories. Burrell stated that production capacity would be increased to include additional LitePOWER products with a new facility in Forney, Texas.
